Ice Castles: A Poem

Meet the Ice Queen.
She stands watching
with a gleam
in each glassy eye.
She can be melted,broke,
taken apart. She thinks
Its safer for her delicate heart.
You can see each breath,
feel each start,
all from the pain of
 the shattered parts
A little girl, she is inside;
and now she's built
a place to hide.
